The time has come!!

So, I decided that it was time for me to start a blog. That, and Sarah said I should, lol...so, here goes.

In case you weren't aware, I joined the jazz ensemble. I think this would be a good place to start off a blog of this kind. This adventure is not permanent, however, but is just for this week because of Sing Song. After Saturday, I'm out! It was pretty funny how it happened though. After band chapel last Thursday, one of the trombone players came over and began begging me to be in it. I told him no to begin with and was going to stick to that answer. So, he then attacked Linley and began begging her, and she said no and I knew she wouldn't have time. I then kinda started considering it, and was then jumped by two more members of the jazz ensemble. When the trombone player was practically almost in tears, lol, I caved and said I'd do it. It was a really impuslive and kinda spontaneous move for me. It may not sound like much, but for me, it was a big deal. I usually have to have already looked at calendars and my planner to check and make sure I didn't already have a million other things going on, I'm just that OCD. After I said yes, I had several people tell me I was insane and wishing me luck because it was going to cause my week to be crazy. On the contrary, my week has been quite easy, so it really wasn't a big deal that I said yes.

To say the least, I have definitely had fun. We had our first show tonight and still have 3 more this weekend, but I think I'll be just fine.
